A big congrats to Taylor Swift on her Grammy wins this week! Taylor received 4 of the awards, including the prestigious Album of the Year (Fearless). At age 20, Taylor is now the youngest musician to win Album of the Year.

Not at all surprised by Taylor’s wins, Tom Jackson looks forward to hearing about more and more career success, as Taylor continues to build her audience by creating moments!

Kudos to Jason Crabb on winning this year’s Grammy for Best Southern/Country/Bluegrass Gospel Album!

Jason’s self-titled solo album was released last June and debuted at #1 on SoundScan’s Christian/Gospel Christian Retail chart.

The former lead singer for The Crabb Family, Jason was recently named one of the “Top 10 Artists To Watch in 2010” by Gospelmusicchannel.com, who stated, “…Jason Crabb is simply one of the most gifted singers in any genre.”

Having worked with The Crabb Family, Tom Jackson is glad to see Jason continuing the high level of musicality and captivating live shows that his family established years ago.

Congratulations to multi-platinum, Grammy and Dove Award winning Jars of Clay on getting their eighth career Grammy nomination!

This year’s nomination was for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album (“The Long Fall Back to Earth”). This is the band’s 10th album, and it debuted at No. 1 on SoundScan last April.

Tom Jackson, having worked with Jars of Clay in the past, is happy to hear of his friends’ continued success in the music business!

Francesca Battistelli, was recently featured on grammy.com as a result of her Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Performance (“Free To Be Me”) (see full article here).

Congratulations to singer-songwriter Francesca Battistelli for her Grammy Award nomination for Best Gospel Performance for her hit single “Free To Be Me.”

“Free To Be Me” shattered records becoming the most added song by a female artist in Christian radio history, holding the #1 slot for ten consecutive weeks and becoming the first #1 song from a female at AC radio since 2005. Additionally, the song was the #4 most downloaded Christian Digital track for 2009.

Tom and Amy look forward to hearing more great songs from Franny in the future, and to working with her on her live show again soon!

Congratulations to New Brunswick artist Rik Reese & Neon Highway on being nominated for Country Album of the Year (Mama Raised a Good Boy) by Canada’s East Coast Music Association.

glorianaCongrats to Gloriana! The country group received Breakthrough Artist of the Year award at the American Music Awards last night.

Gloriana member Tom Gossin seemed honestly surprised by the group’s win over Lady GaGa and others:

“We’re Gloriana from Nashville, Tenn.,” he said. “We’re a country group. Could we get a show of hands of everybody that just said, ‘Who the heck is Gloriana?’ Well, you’re not alone. We’ve got so many people to thank.”

Both Tom Jackson and Amy Wolter had fun working with Gloriana on their live show, and they look forward to doing it again!

A big shout out to Taylor Swift for winning big at the American Music Awards last night!

The artist came away with 5 wins, including Artist of the Year, Female Artist in Pop/Rock, Female Artist in Country, and Favorite Adult-Contemporary artist, as well as Favorite Female Country Album (Fearless).
